Water Bottle Cozy – Free Crochet Pattern

One thing that I’m going to make a more conscious effort in doing this year is to drink more water. I’ve purchased a few more reusable water bottles over the last few months so I always have one clean.

I know that it’s an U.S. thing with having ICE COLD water. There isn’t anything better than drinking water so cold that your teeth hurt. I also don’t get mad when drinking and I get to eat a piece of that good nugget ice. IYKYK – if you know, you know.

Supplies

The Yarn

I wanted to use cotton yarn so that it can absorb any condensation caused by the ice cold water in the bottles and not make a mess on your tables or desk. I had some Paintbox Cotton DK left in my stash from a previous project.

Using DK weight helped with not adding bulk to the bottom of the bottles that will make it less sturdy. No one likes a cup or bottle that will tip over because the base is uneven.

Omega Snowflake – Free Crochet Pattern

I’m a big fan of snowflakes (if you didn’t know already) and since the Zeta Snowflake is so popular I wanted to make another snowflake pattern. I can’t wait to see your finished Omega Snowflake.

My favorite part about my snowflake patterns is that they can be made into so many other items. They work as earrings, ornaments, bunting, keychains, and coaster. All you have to do is change up the hook and yarn.
