Are you notorious for just tossing your sunglasses into your bag to get all scratched? You’ll love the Sun & Shade Sunglasses Case!
The Sun & Shade Sunglasses Case is a quick and easy project that can use up your partial skeins of yarn.
I think I might make the teachers one of these this year. I’ve run out of ideas of things that I can make them at this point.
The Yarn
You’ll want to use worsted weight cotton yarn for this project. Based on your yarn choice the finished item might vary in size.
I used I love This Cotton (Yellow) and Lily’s Sugar n Cream (orange) when I made mine. Because the I love This Cotton is a softer and smoother yarn it ended up a little bit smaller than the one made using Sugar n Cream. The size difference is probably only .33 of an inch.
Supplies Needed
70-80 yards worsted weight cotton
G/4.00mm
Yarn needle
Measuring tape
Scissors
1” button
I found these cute novelty sunglass buttons at Joann. I thought that they were fitting so I had to get them. I have “normal” buttons in my container but none of them worked as well.
