Rays Of Sunshine Collection
Did you know that the Rays Of Sunshine Table Runner is the first pattern featured in the Rays Of Sunshine Collection? Some of the other patterns included in the collection include a dishcloth, hand towel, and coaster.
The Yarn
I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran for the Rays Of Sunshine Table Runner (and collection). I really enjoy working with this yarn. It is soft but still sturdy enough for everyday tasks.
For the Rays Of Sunshine Table Runner and Coaster I used the colorway Daffodil Yellow and the colorway Mustard Yellow for the Rays Of Sunshine Dishcloth and Hand Towel.

- 400 yards Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran (just over 4 full skeins)
- H/5.00mm crochet hook
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers

Finished Size: 12” X 36” (blocked)

Stitch Definitions
Dc2Tog* – Double Crochet 2 Together – YO, insert hook into same St as previous St, YO and pull up a loop, YO, pull through 2, Sk next St, YO, insert hook into next St, YO and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), YO, pull through 2 (3 loops on hook), YO, pull through 3.
Sdc – Starting Double Crochet – (also known as Long Chain Double Crochet or Chainless Starting Double Crochet.) Pull up your loop to the height of your usual Double Crochet. YO, insert into the 1st St, YO, pull through the St, YO, pull through 2 loops, YO, pull through the remaining 2 loops.

Written in U.S. crochet terms.
Worked in the round.
A stitch count is provided at the end of each row.
The Sdc can be substituted with a Ch 3.
Pay attention to how the Dc2Tog is worked.
Blocking isn’t necessary but advised.
