Made With A Twist
The yarn that I originally used was Brava Sport from We Crochet but you can use any comparable sport weight/baby weight yarn.
- Ch – Chain
- Hdc – Half Double Crochet
- RS – Right Side
- Sc – Single Crochet
- Sk – Skip
- Tr – Treble Crochet
- WS – Wrong Side
Written in US crochet terms.
It’s easier to sew the closure if you’ve already woven in your beginning tail.
A picture tutorial has been included for the closure.
Before the closure, the item might have a slight slant. This is unnoticeable in the finished item.
Row 1.) Hdc in 2nd Ch from the hook and each Ch across. (16) RS
Row 2.) Turn, Ch 1, Hdc in 1st St, *Sk 1, (Tr, Sc) in next St* repeat across until last St, Hdc in last St. (16) WS
Row 3.) Turn, Ch 1, Hdc in 1st St and across. (16)
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until approximately 20” ending with a row 3. Move on to closure.
With WS facing, fold in half to form a V (pearls will be on the inside). Interlock the V’s within each other and with a 10” tail sew ends together as shown below. [Different colors used to show more detail]
Finish off and weave in ends.
