The Perennial Sweater is available in 9 sizes ranging from an XS to 5X.
XS – 30” bust;
S – 34” bust;
M – 38” bust
L – 42” bust;
XL – 46” bust;
2X – 50” bust;
3X – 54” bust;
4X – 58”bust;
5X – 62” bust.
There is a 2″ ease so it will be loose fitting.
To make the Perennial Sweater you will need the following items:
Worsted weight yarn (See list below for approximate yardage)
K/6.5mm crochet hook
Based on the size you plan to make, you will need approximate yardage for each size:
XS – 1200
S – 1400
M – 1600
L – 1800
XL – 2000
2X – 2200
3X – 2400
4X – 2600
5X – 2800
The Perennial Sweater uses basic stitches to create a beautiful texture. The following a list of the stitches used.
- Blo – Back Loop Only
- Ch(s) – Chain(s)
- Dc – Double Crochet
- Sc2Tog – Single Crochet 2 Together
- Sc – Single Crochet
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
- St(s) – Stitch(es)
Sc2Tog – Single Crochet 2 Together – Insert hook into St, YO and pull up a loop in each of the next two Sts (three loops on hook), YO and pull through all three loops on the hook.
You can personalize your Perennial Sweater to fit your body and style. The Perennial Sweater will look amazing at any length; cropped, tunic, or hip length. To adjust the length you can go up or down a size for the starting chain.
The pattern is written with long sleeves but I know that a lot of us prefer 3/4 sleeves. Simply end the sleeves an inch or so from from where you would like the sleeves to fall and move on to the border, still following the stitch pattern of course.
Stitch counts are provided for each row and each size – yes, that’s a whole lot of math!
Your Perennial Sweater will be worked in these easy steps:
– Sewing of panels
– Finishing touches.
1.) Sc in 2nd Ch from the hook and each Ch across. (20)
2.) Turn, Ch 1, Sc in 1st St and each St across. (20)
3-20.) Repeat row 2.
Within swatch you should have: 13 Sts x 16 Rows of Sc = 4”
Don’t forget that you can also purchase the entire Autumn Exclusives Pattern Bundle for $34.95 which includes 40 amazing premium patterns! Get all the details in the button below.
